AdvanceHIT offers well-formed discourse on opportunites for innovation in health information technologies (HIT). We write visionary papers and conduct in-depth analyses in an open forum of discussion and participation. (more)

Our goal is to help new HIT avoid pitfalls from unforeseen stakeholder barriers (e.g., privacy, usability, liability, accountability, affordability). The best way to address most stakeholder concerns is through design, so we engage multiple stakeholders, across disciplines and silos, in comparisons and considerations of alternative designs before technology construction. The idea is to "pre-certify" new technology through knowledge and informed discourse so it will have a better likelihood of user acceptance, societal adoption, and organizational uptake. (more)
